PyVecContour: A Python toolkit for vectorized isosurface mapping

Vectorized isosurface mapping is critical for conducting scientific research in computational fluid dynamics (CFD). We provide a Python-based tool the vectorized of scalar field information CFD simulation results, with goal reducing file size while ensuring editability and graphical presentation independent resolution. The ideal interpolation angle first determined by spatially rotating target region, which reduces invalid range. Second, because it uses spatial clipping approach, offers graphics processing method particular geometric structures such as “islands” or “masks”. Finally, data decreased using Geobuf’s space-compressed storage format. application case, visualizes spatiotemporal evolution EFDC (Environmental Fluid Dynamics Code) concentration field, demonstrates that rotation strategies improve both tracking effectiveness, make analysis results conform better to actual situation. compression strategy substantially promotes network propagation retrieval contour maps, supporting multi-scenario web applications based on animation method.
